Adam Revitt
BVetMed GPCert(WVA&CPM) MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon and Acupuncturist
Having grown up in Torquay, Devon, Adam was keen to return to the southwest to live and work after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2009. He worked in a traditional mixed practice on the Devon/Cornwall border for 5 years, gaining a good variety of clinical experience. Since 2015 he has worked as a locum veterinary surgeon across the southwest and has focused on small animal practice. In this time, he has worked for practices of all sizes from large veterinary hospitals to smaller one vet clinics and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of general veterinary practice.

Adam has a particular interest in the management of chronic pain and was awarded a General Practitioner Certificate in Western Veterinary Acupuncture and Chronic Pain Management in 2018. In addition to practicing acupuncture and electroacupuncture he has a wide knowledge of the use of analgesics and other aspects of pain management. He is a member of the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA), the Western Veterinary Acupuncture Group (WVAG) and is accredited by the Veterinary Osteoarthritis Alliance (VOA).

Adam has regularly volunteered for StreetVet Plymouth, since it started in 2018 and is a committee member and a team lead.

Outside of work Adam enjoys walking – especially on Dartmoor, gardening and spending time with his family.
